Our Life Beyond ALU programme is a series of workshops with the Graduands to offer information, lessons and advice to best prepare them for their life after they graduate - their Life Beyond ALU. It includes legal and personal Wellness advice, the process to exit the country (if needed) and the University. The programme also includes connecting and hearing from their Alumni, who share their first hand experiences and ends with Tamu Night (sweet night), a ritual that allows for bonding, nostalgia and set up for the next step, including the torch lighting ceremony for taking leadership positions in the Alumni Association, ALUmni.
Our Asante Day is our special day of Gratitude. We invite our parents, families and Staff and Faculty especially, in line with our value of Humility. It is also an opportunity to showcase our campus, the graduands and the University as a whole. It is the start of the celebrations that continue the next day at the Graduation Ceremony.
Our Graduation Ceremony is our final Celebration and is centred around the formal ceremony and includes an address from a Keynote Speaker, our Guest of Honour and a Graduate. It also include the 'capping' of graduands to confer their Degrees officially by our Vice Chancellor and the giving out of our Graduation Awards.
